1. What is Shelp? Shelp is a dynamic peer-to-peer platform designed specifically for student services. Whether you're in need of assistance or you're looking to earn $$, Shelp lets you post requests or offer help to other students!

2. Who can use Shelp? Shelp is exclusively for college students. To ensure safety and authenticity, users must provide a valid student ID during the signup process.

3. How does Shelp work? It's straightforward! If you need assistance, simply post a request and await responses from our community of Shelpers. Connect, collaborate, and complete tasks with ease.

4. Is Shelp available for Android devices? Currently, Shelp is not available on Android. However, we're in the process of expanding, so stay tuned for updates!

5. How do I sign up for Shelp? Getting started is easy! Download the Shelp app and follow the on-screen prompts to create your account.

6. What information do I need to provide to create a profile? All you need is a valid student ID to verify your college student status.

7. Can I edit my profile after setting it up? Absolutely! You can edit your profile details anytime you wish from within the app.

8. How can I ensure my privacy on Shelp? Your privacy is paramount to us. We use Google Cloud for secure data storage and ensure that all messages are encrypted. Rest assured, your data and conversations are safe with Shelp.

9. How do I post a request for help? Open the Shelp app and tap on the "Get Help" button. Choose the category that aligns with your needs, provide some additional details, and hit post. Your request is now live for Shelpers to see!

10. Can I edit or delete my request after posting it? While you can't currently edit a post, you do have the option to delete it. We're working on an editing feature, and it'll be available in upcoming updates.

11. How will I know if someone is willing to help me? You'll receive direct messages from interested Shelpers right within the app.

12. Can I communicate with the Shelper directly? Yes, all communication happens seamlessly through Shelp's in-built messaging system.

Becoming a Shelper

13. How do I sign up as a Shelper? Head to your homepage and scroll down until you see the "Become a Shelper Today" button. Click on it, fill in the necessary details, and submit your application. We'll review it and get back to you shortly!

14. Are there any qualifications or requirements to become a Shelper? To become a Shelper, you must be an active college student with no felony history. Safety and trust are core to our platform.

15. How much can I earn as a Shelper? Your earning potential is limitless with Shelp! How much you make is entirely up to your effort and availability.

16. How are payments processed on Shelp? All transactions on Shelp are securely processed through Stripe, a trusted payment gateway.

17. Does Shelp charge any fees? Yes, Shelp takes a 20% commission from each transaction. This fee helps us maintain, expand, and enhance our platform for an even better user experience.

18. How does Shelp ensure the safety of my transactions? With Stripe handling all transactions in the background, you can be confident in the safety and security of your payments on Shelp.

19. What happens if I’m not satisfied with the service provided by a Shelper? Only pay once you're satisfied! If the service doesn't meet your expectations, reach out to us, and we'll facilitate a refund.

20. How quickly can I expect to receive payment after completing a task? Payments are usually processed within 1-2 days of task completion.

21. I'm having trouble using the app, where can I get help? Experiencing issues? Email us at support@shelp.xyz or call 510-999-1592. We're here to help!

22. I have a dispute with a Shelper/student, how can Shelp assist? In case of disputes, please contact us via email or phone. We'll mediate the situation and ensure a fair resolution, even providing refunds if necessary.

23. My payment didn’t go through, what should I do? Don't worry! Reach out to us via email or phone, and we'll sort out any payment-related concerns promptly.
